Barchart - Sugar prices on Monday settled little changed for the second session.  Sugar found some support from Monday's EU court ruling that banned the use of the pesticide neonicotinoids, which is considered harmful to bees.  The court's ruling may make European farmers reluctant to plant sugar beets, leading to reduced EU sugar production.

The upside in sugar prices was limited by concern India will boost its sugar exports.  India's Food Secretary Chopra said last Thursday that India has the potential to allow additional sugar exports and will assess domestic demand before deciding whether to allow more sugar exports next month.
